Default Anyone interested in a study group?

Not book related, but sure 2+2 forum is good for hand discussions and whatever but i feel i'd learn more and improve my game with weekly sweat sessions and general discussions about many poker related discussions.

I'd be looking for guys playing 2/4 and 3/6 shorthanded and hopefully having read SSH and TOP fair bit and have AIM. I'm from UK so GMT timezone.

Would just be few people to discuss hands, have chat room sweat sessions and just improve on eachothers play. Discussions like continuation bets and PT stats etc etc.

Anyone interested ? I'm to poor for a coach and at 2/4 feels worthless and mentors don't randomly pick people to train up unfortunatly so i guess this is another way to improve.

POKhER.

Sure I'd be interested assuming its at a good time for me. I play 2/4 atm and am moving up to 3/6 soon. Logged a bunch of hands at 5/10 before that. I think I could give a different perspective since I'm a 27/22 lag.

I've read SSSH several times, most of TOP, WTO once, HEPFAP once, GSIH once, HOH 1 once + sections of a few other books.

I'm very interested. I play mostly 3/6, but sometimes drop down to 2/4 or go up to 5/10 depending upon the tables available. I've read the usual 2+2 books a couple of times now.

By the way, this makes me think of a related topic. I actually thought about recommending that we add a 1 hour "sweat session" -- real time coaching, that is -- to the session reviews, but I didn't bring it up because I thought while it would be a good idea for some, it might also push some away because it's already a decent time commitment.

I'd be interested and I play 3/6 SH. Time is a bit scarce, but I could find a little time each week for this I believe.

ok so we got 6 interested or so, Not sure how we want to do this.

If everyones read SSH and played .5/1 + we can assume most of us know pretty much the same knowledge. Do you all have AIM?

I guess we could either have all 6 of us do it, or split into 3's?

Not sure if you'd want .5/1 and 2/4 mixed ect or in same groups. Guess a mix would be benificial for everyone?

If you all have aim mines: POKhERLH

If you all post yours here and add eachother then make a new AIM group in your buddy list and put us under "2+2 study group" then we can arrange a time to do these sweat sessions?

I'd be fine with a daily sweat going through each player for an hour of something 1-2 tabling then discussing and posting hands we don't agree on.

Then random discussions on PT stats, other hands we played that week and whatever else people wanted to talk about.

I just want to improve my game, i feel im stuck right now... oh and also in a 100BB drop on 2/4 having just moved up.
