Re: New Deposit Option on Pokerstars

Got my card this weekend and everything worked out smoothly.

It just shows up as another option on the withdrawal screen and took them ~36hrs to load the card.

The fees are the same as you were...

I was able to add $200 right after the deadline and got it from an ATM today, so it is definately still working for some people.

Re: (60) get called during my steal, now what?

I like a CB on the flop not to get an ace to fold but to knock out the broadway hands which are drawing to 10 outs. If he calls I would shut down and hope for a check down.

Re: 6.50t: good push, bad push, good not-push

I don't want this hand checked down cheaply if he has AQ or AJ, I want all of his chips.

I don't want him to fold his PP when an A or K hits the flop.

This isn't about being afraid to play...

Re: 6.50t: good push, bad push, good not-push

Calling here is really really bad you are out of position and thats a huge chunk of your chips. The villains range certainly includes AJ, AQ, and probably worse and he isn't laying them down making...

Re: 6.50t: good push, bad push, good not-push

1 - Seems fine for a 6.50

2 - This is a good push 375 chips already in the pot and you will get called by worse hands.

3 - Push preflop same reasons as above.

Re: Question for those who play mainly NL SNG\'s

1) Yes they are a pretty consistent way to make money if you are willing to put in the time and can multitable well.

2) Poker made up a decent portion of my income before I found SnG's so almost...

Re: $33 - I still can\'t play KK on an ace high board

With that board and HU on the flop I think checking behind is by far the best move this is when you use your post flop skills.

He isn't going to call you with any hads you are beating and he isn't...

Re: JJ: Few limpers, my move?

Raising to 300 isn't enough at an 11 I raise to 400-500 and definately call any preflop re-raises from the limpers.

Re: Sets vs. Continuous? Your reasons.

If you are trying to switch from sets to continuous you can try staggering when you start them so they don't all become short handed at the same time. This will keep it less hectic and before long...

Re: A6s vs. a known Pushbot (33s) - When to take a chance?

[ QUOTE ]
A great player is able to do this and in doing so take their advantage. I would probably even call with Kx and maybe Qx.

Calling with any Q or K is what seperates bad...

Playing 7\'s as chipleader against a big stack.

My read on villain is that he is a pretty straightforward solid player. If he has any read on me its that I have been playing a little loose but who knows if people are ever paying attention or what...
