Re: Bluffing the Flush
Flopping an OESD and representing it as a flush draw is something I do quite frequently. When I do make the straight I usually get a free ride to valuetown and bluffing when I hit my "fold equity...

Re: Are Online Short Sessions Rude?
There's no problem with short sessions anywhere. It's your own money, whether or not it formerly belonged to someone else. If you feel like leaving then do so, you don't owe anything to anyone.

Re: do you call a draw if you are even money?
I'd call, for metagame reasons. I'm a bit weak-tight player so I wouldn't mind if the opponents would bluff me less in the future, knowing that I can make a call like that.
Whether you call or...

Re: 50NL vs 100NL: the great divide
I recently moved from NL50 to NL100 and I didn't notice any real difference. Maybe a few a bit more aggressive players but finding tables full of passive fishes isn't a problem. And if there aren't...

Re: Getting tossed from a homegame for winning.

I have been playing in the same homegame for the last year. We play 1/2 with $200 buyin and just recently started a 2/5 $500 game.

Re: More flushes than straights....
OTOH, when you make your straight you will get more value out of it against one or two pair. 3-flush board often kills the action.
Does anyone have data on how profitable straights/straight draws...

Re: Slow playing a hand, when? Or NEVER?
I have two rules for slowplaying:
1) I must believe I can make more money on later streets than I would make by raising now.
AND
2) The hand must be strong enough that I will call an all-in...

Re: Updated info
If you are worried about players going busto why not just play with lower stakes? I'd much rather play an NL50 with no cap than NL200 with a 50 cap.
