Re: Thread on PLO/8 starting hands

Buzz ->

I entered BarbarianX under "Username search".
Then I clicked on "Show all user's posts" and found it on page 6.

I'm unsure why google/2+2 doesn't show it correctly.

Here are my thoughts...not really sure how good my line(s) are though, so please take my thoughts with a grain of salt.

1. yes, standard

2. marginal - I'd be more inclined to fold b/c the pot...

Re: New WSOP Events You Most Want to See

mixed O8 event (limit o/8, plo/8)

pot limit rotation game - hold 'em, omaha, omaha/8, 5 card draw, deuce-to-seven
(maybe PokerStars should introduce a pot limit rotation game ...)

Re: Late stage PS $11 O8 MTT rebuy Hand

I think this is a suitable hand to raise/call all-in with. You have a decent 2-way hand if called. (A4 is decent for low, aqj for high with a suited ace has pretty good high capabilities).

Re: Poker Hand XML

Random points:
1. Shouldn't we keep the cards as separate pieces of data (separated) for the "eventual" expansion of other games (specifically, stud or draw)?

2. I agree with associating cards...

Re: Poker Hand XML

It might be more useful to break down <cards> into <card> for each card dealt to each player (or community cards).

This will probably be better for supporting stud based games.

Isn't split pairs a term used in stud?

(8A)A = split aces
