Re: OT: Words of sympathy for a fellow HSMTTer?
Why would you ever need to put a PT database in online storage? That is going to be a bitch to upload on a cable modem. You're going to have to constantly pay to keep that server up, maintain it,...

Re: Ron Paul raises 4.3M in 24 hours online
I found this link interesting. I can see why the national news was ignoring Ron Paul. This $4M was completely necessary (and much more is still needed) for it to look like he even has a hope.

Re: Linux questions from a newb
Try damnsmall linux. It's a specially made distro for older computers. Other popular distros with more stuff are OpenSuse 10.3 and Ubuntu.
Your computer might not be that much faster in linux....

Re: OT: Prop Bet for Collin Moshman
Exactly why do party poker stats from a year ago not count?
First of all, 10% ROI at the $500 sngs a year ago on party poker is still pretty darn impressive in my mind. Certainly, that qualifies...

Re: screenname stats sites like sharkscope
startracker basically proves that no one is making much money at SNGs. Finnisher is doing really well comparatively and only making ~$1k / month. That doesn't count FPP's, but it still ain't much...

Re: Help me pick a game
Wow, this is encouraging. If I could multiply my 16's by 3 for profit and make $12k / month, that would be awesome.
Clearly I have some studying to do. Anyone want to coach me?

Re: Help me pick a game
Yeah, I can play over 3-4k sngs / month no problem. The question is if I can do 10% ROI at the 16's still doing that. I have not played enough games to prove myself a 10% ROI winner at the 16's 15...

Help me pick a game
I used to 12 table the 22's on Party Poker and life was great. I could play mindlessly, get in a few thousand sngs in a month, and be guaranteed a profit, stress free.
Now, I've been playing the...
