Re: Deep ITM $5 6max : Spew w/ AK?

I just think that the chips you take down when a worse hand (most likely) folds won't be enough to make up the losses you will have when a superior hand calls and you have to hit the flop in a much...

[ QUOTE ]
The pf rr is fine, specially this deep on the button, huge fold equity here.

Re: 4.40/180... I don\'t know what to do here w/ tptk

Definitely just call preflop, and try to see a showdown as cheaply as possible. I wouldn't commit too much of my stack after the flop.

Re: QQ in MP vs SS all-in: Early Stages of MTT Satellite

I would make the call and play the rest of the hand as strongly as possible.

Re: Deep ITM $5 6max : Spew w/ AK?

First off, I'm not too keen on the reraise preflop, depends on the player I guess. Second, I don't think your turn bet was really very weak (just under half the pot), and he may not have read it as...

Re: $11 - 88 in BB with 20-BB

Since you are in first position after the flop, I would check that turn, but any other position, I'd throw out a half-pot bet.

Re: TPTK dodgy board

Definitely bet about half the pot on the turn, this way if you get raised you can put villain on a smaller range of hands than you can by checking and having him bet. If you get raised on the turn,...

.05-.10 JJ Deep Stacked

Villain is 25/7 and hasn't been getting involved too much.

Re: Stars $4 / 180. fired a 2nd barrel on the turn...

I don't mind the preflop call but I would definitely check the flop to see what materialized on the turn (also be wary of preflop raiser checking a strong hand here to induce a bet). Once you bet the...

Re: JJ on a AAx board with a weak better

I would raise the flop to about 4.50, and fold if he reraises. You might get a fold there, but if he calls, I would check behind his likely check on the turn, since people would play trips this way...

Re: K2s flop bottom 2 $100nl

I might three bet the flop to find out where i'm at, especially against his weak minraise

As played though, I think you're looking at either 22 or A6, so river fold is probably the best move
