Just went for my first time last weekend.

I played a couple SnGs ($80+20 buy-in). Yeah, it's a lot of juice, but I bubbled one and cashed in the second. No cleverness needed -- just be patient...

Well.

I don't know if you have any say in it, but IMO you are probably better off in a freeze-out tourney than in a home game with Addons and rebuys. Knowing that you can rebuy tends to loosen...

IMO, it's worth checking out the $40+10 at Showboat. T5000 starts, no antes ever. Very comfy room, though not terribly crowded (a plus for me).

You're analysis is pretty correct, but you're also missing a couple things worth considering:

You're equity is 35% or so from the flush, but you might also win if you spike an ace and very rarely...
