[/ QUOTE ]

Re: spew?

I think I would slow down on the turn and just call when CO raises. Correct me if I am wrong, but we are 3-betting the flop because of a combination of our pot equity and the folding equity you gain...

Re: KTo bb

I would check/call given the scary board. I think there is a good chance villian has Ax so there is a reasonable chance your 2-pair is good. I can kind of see the argument for a bet/fold line, but...

Re: AKs river overcall

Isn't there a small chance Hero's hand is good here? I would call here given the great pot odds. You don't need to be good very often for a call to be profitable.

Re: 1/2 - gross turn spot

To those of you that suggest 3-betting and folding to a cap: The pot is getting awfully big at this point, I don't see how you can fold... I guess it depends on how strong your read on UTG. I'm not...

Re: Isle of Capri and Harrahs Lake Charles

I have only been to Isle of Capri in Lake Charles once and the only limit hold'em game they had was 3/6/12. The Winstar is much better if you want to play in higher games.

Re: Playing Flush and Straight Draws in Limit Tournaments

[ QUOTE ]
Almost never try to bluff in limit. That includes semibluffs.

[/ QUOTE ]
I'm not sure about this, especially in the context of tournaments. There are lots of times when a bluff or...

Re: Playing Flush and Straight Draws in Limit Tournaments

I think it rarely makes sense to ditch flush draws and straight draws in tournaments when you are getting good odds. If the decision is close, then you can probably start taking other factors into...

Re: $11 bubble, call this push?

[ QUOTE ]
my question is this, and maybe I'm overthinking: is this a situation where the pot odds and hand ranges dictate a call, or is it an example of what harrington describes as ONLY a fair...
