Re: On my way to AC for first time. Any Advice/Suggestions/Warnings??

I know the Trop. The NL game (1/2 and 2/50) is pretty good and security is top notch. I've heard about people getting mugged in the bathrooms at the Taj so be wary.

You may want to try the Pinks...

Re: Why do people berate people for calling their bluffs?

Why do you care?

At the end of every session, I check my bankroll, its almost always higher than when I began. If I am troubled by a hand I'll have the hands emailed to me (or in a B&M take a...

Re: Requesting to see mucked cards at showdown?

Everybody who is in at the showdown must declare their hands. Everybody who was dealt in the hand has the right to see a players hands at the show down. Collussion aside, asking to see a mucked...

Re: \"Go ahead, turn over my hand\"

In AC, Seat 8 would be banned from the casino, probably forever. An undeclared hand is dead even if its undeclared because the player won't turn over both cards.

Looks like Seat 8 lost a nice pot...

Re: Should I fold baby rolled up?

It is obviously a fold only because you don't know anything about these guys.

Re: \"Don\'t forget the dealer\" - WTF?

Dealers, like waiters and cabbies, size up customers as to whether they know about tipping or not. Some dealers freak out when a pot as split that they'll get stiffed (actually they do better...

Re: Help me tell my friend: I DO NOT WANT TO STAKE YOU

I assume you've staked your friend in the past.

The norm for staking someone is either immediate payback of the stake (ie it's a loan) or a 50% of his winnings. So you've either "loaned" a couple...

Re: How important is picking your seat online?

Coming into the blinds sucks (ie you post the BB and the SB) compared to posting a LP Blind. There is an expectation that the BB will bet at the flop/protect his Blind/play the hand/or whatever you...

Re: Bad etiquette to color up in small stakes?

The normal rule is that all your chips must be visible so your bigger chips would have to sit in front of your smaller chips. Coloring up is usually done when you are leaving, so unless the dealer...

Re: Greedy dealer or cheap grinder? (toke involved)

In AC, we cut the pot for the dealers' tipout first (particularly if there is a chop). This way, no player can over tip the dealer to coerce other players to do likewise. Plus in AC dealers rotate...

Re: You know you have a good table image when... (nc)

Nice

You know you have a good table image when all the daytripers from North Jersey leave the 4/8 table you just got sat at the Trop to sit at the 2/4 when you get sat.

Re: declaring what you have

Always use "Might" and "Could" when describing your hand and you are jake. Otherwise, stating you have a specific hand that you don't can get you bounced from a table, game, casino or cardroom....

Re: Live $1-5, anyone still play ?

I play mostly 1/5 and 5/10 at the Trop in AC. 1/5 tends to be a retirees game during the day but heats up to a more active game in the evenings. There area lot of HE players who donb't/can't/won't...

Re: Is it still a \"suckout\" even if the card was free?

The phrase "suckout" is really overused. A suckout is really when a single card and only that cared (at most 4 card i.e. a gut shot) can turn a second best card into the winning hand.

Once I...
