50NL JJ on the bb, facing raise from the button from unknown villain

This was literally the first hand from this session I had no previous reads on this villain. Of course I think he tries to steal and I'm a lot more aggressive with my JJ than I'd normally be.

Re: 50NL set sixes facing raise on the river

Of course a terrible play of QQ. But these are also the people who donk their stack away to me when they don't hit /images/graemlins/grin.gif.

I posted the hand because I don't think I ever saw...

Re: NL25 - AK, hit the king on the flop - hands like this are killing me

Would be a fold for me too. I would have checked the turn.

I always like to think that AK is designed for playing small pots. When pots get big and you don't have anything better than TPTK you...

Re: $5nl - Tough decision with AQ

I'd fold. Hands he has here (since he almost never raises pf) are AA/KK/QQ/JJ/(may be) AK. You beat AK, KK, JJ and with those cards I don't see him raising the turn and pushing the river, since he's...

Re: 50NL set sixes facing raise on the river

The raison I did not 3bet the river was that I was suprised by his raise there. Like most of you say, flop bet is a bit to small, I agree with that.

Nobody had the correct answer. Villain showed...

50NL set sixes facing raise on the river

Villain is 34/6. I think I know I played this hand well, but the outcome really suprised me. What are you're thoughts?

Re: QQ over Pair against push

I'd say that there are better spots to put your money in than this one. I think he has AA/KK and wants more action preflop than he got from you. I find minreraises preflop suspicious and from my...

Re: NL200: 3-barrel

As said, your bet is too small for it's purpose here. I think it's clear that if he calls, he has you beat, but you said that yourself.

I wouldn't even be suprised to see a set of Queens here....

Re: NL25 AA facing rr on the flop

Too bad you don't have any stats on villain. Would help a lot i.m.o. Against a 9/6 it would be an easy fold now, since he indeed has the set 9 out of 10 times here. Against a 30/15 however it would...

Re: NL10 is there any way you get off of this?

Easy call on 10NL. You should be sitting full stacked though.

Re: NL50: River completes FD and brings overcard, villain open pushes

Hard to say what he has without reads, but would be an easy fold for me against almost any villain. Seems like he's drawing to a flush with A? and just hit. Or just has AK or KQ. Again, hard to say...

Re: 50nl. Worst turn card in the deck against idiot.

I wouldn't be suprised if he holds AJ/KJ/QJ. Do you have a number on called continuation bets for villain?

Flop raise is obviously a good play. I would check the turn and see what he does on the...
