Re: 99 overpair / full ring / river donk
I would raise that preflop.
I guess its a call on the river. As said you get 1:7, thats worth it.

Re: St8 on the turn - too agressive?
Thx. I do understand that the flop bet wasnt premium play.
I'm surprised about the pf discussion. According to SSHE thats standard play. They even suggest to raise with any suited hand on a loose...

There's a long chapter in Theory of Poker on that subject. I will understand it fully in maybe in 10 years but it says that if villains calls more than bets you should bet and bets or bluffs more you...

Re: QQ and A on flop?
Thanx. Especially for the link to the article. Folding on the flop seems to be the better option unless I don't have a specific read and especially if the pot is kind of small.

QQ and A on flop?
I had no specific read. Villain's raise says "ace". Is calling spew here? I tended more to fold on the flop. Is that too weak?

Re: TT - Flop Decision
I guess capping pf doesn't help as they probably will call anyway. And with TT you are not raising for value here.
On the flop its a fold for me. The ace doesn't look good, SB might even have an...

Re: Hand Posting - A3s on the Button SH
I haven't raised hands like that preflop but it makes sense to me. You can steal it right there.
Thats a call on the flop. As said you can't raise for value but want to see the flop. With the ace or...

Re: Do I hold on to JJ here?
I'm just wondering if I could fold without specific read. The pot is large but not that large. On the flop he might call with a draw or even TX. But here it looks like QX.
A raise doesn't help here,...

Re: Playing and losing to AQ in micro limit - when to fold this hand
Raise it preflop, makes it a lot easier to play. Flop call is o.k. with overcards and BD draws. If villain is passive he might just call and check with 2 low hearts, I have seen that. But your play...

Re: .05/.1 Limp button with 53s? Cap flop?
I don't play short-handed, I would call that with a couple of bets before me long-handed in the button. This is a highly speculative hand.
I would just call the 3-bet on the flop. The turn check is...

If they are all loose-passive I would call preflop, otherwise fold. With aggressive players its though to play. What do the other players have? Flush draw is possible (probably UTG), but MP2 more...

Also there is a gutshot wheel draw. Villain also woke up with a flush draw. But with a pot this small there are not enough odds to call.

Re: QJo BB flops OESD, turn gives TPGK

Re: AJo in SB - PS .02/.04
