2/4 - AQo in SB, line check

Villian is unknown, first orbit, neither of us has been involved in any hands so far.

Hero has Ad,Qs in SB

UTG raises, folded around to me, I 3-town to get it heads up. BB folds, villian calls....

Re: FTP 8/16, AA vs monotone flop

From the turn raise I'd have to call down given the read.

Re: 3/6 PS (AKo) If You Let Them Bet It, They Will Come

With two spades on the flop why aren't we putting a raise in there? If we're not raising the flop then surely we should be raising the turn for a bit of value and to face BB with two cold and...

Re: Fold Flop Bet River?

I don't get why you would bet the turn and not that river? The 2c is a complete blank. Any reads from the villians here because it looks like your over playing your hand on the flop when the pre...

Re: help with a few selected hands

Hand 1 - folding is a huge mistake. C/c is fine here.

Hand 2 - Unless you think button will raise a strong flush draw or he only raises the nuts I like a c/r here. Reads would make this decision...

Re: 5/10 AJs live

It does look good, though I'd expect to chop with the reads you have.

Re: Playing Behind a Poster

Raise. For spite. If it's folded around to you in the CO or later do you even need to look at your cards before raising? I submit "no!" We must spite this poster for his idiocy and punish his...

Re: $4/$8 B&M -- TT In CO -- Question On Slowplaying Turn

The only of those 5 listed that I didn't consider is the current pot size being large. Number 4 is always going to be iffy in SSHE games; in this particular hand I think you're in a good position to...

Re: $4/$8 B&M -- TT In CO -- Question On Slowplaying Turn

[ QUOTE ]
If you are waiting for the turn to raise for slowplay reasons I don't like it.

[/ QUOTE ]

Why is that? There are plenty of cards that help out a second best hand here that don't...

Re: 5/10 Full Tilt 88 in multiway pot as overpair

Raise the flop because we face a lot of the field with 2 cold and can thin out some draws and over cards. There are still some blanks and cards that can help us so it's not like we're dead in the...

Re: $4/$8 B&M -- TT In CO -- Question On Slowplaying Turn

You're not going to find a better board to slowplay a set on than this one. With the reads I'm fairly confident that I'm going to get action on my turn raise and if an over card hits on the turn...

Re: LIVE top set facing flop cap versus nit

The only reason I would call the turn bet is because this is a live LAP villian. Online it would be really hard to not hit the raise button. With all the dead money along for the ride I don't think...

Re: 5/10 Full Tilt 88 in multiway pot as overpair

With this board I prefer a flop raise to waiting. There just aren't enough blanks to our hand that we'd be waiting for. Pull the trigger while you're in a good position to do so.

Re: 3/6 live: QTo in the BB

You've gotten the most value you can out of your hand against this opponent, and if you loose then he missed a lot of value and I would verbally thank him aftewards by saying, "Very nice had!" Well...

Re: QJs w/ straight and flush board

Any time you have suited broadway cards you should be thinking of putting a raise in. Once I see three limpers in front of me it turns into an insta-raise. There are tons of reasons for doing this,...

Re: 10/20 at the borg...thinkin of moving up

I play the 6/12 game at the Borgata (I'm guessing we're talking about the Borgata in AC?) and it seems pretty soft to me, is it the same for the 10/20 game? Whenever I come home I try to get in a...

I always do a session review of all the hands I played through Poker Tracker and then see if any are worth posting.

Re: 5/10 Turn spew or turn value ?

I don't see anything wrong here at all; I 3-town that turn most of time. NH.

Re: 2/4 FullTilt Line check

Looks like you're way behind when he hits you with the stop and go on this turn. Since you helped bloat this pot I don't think you're getting good odds to call the turn with only a 2 outter. Lay it...

Re: 3/6 A5s, Lots of Room for Debate

I probably drop this PF as well, I'd rather have a limper or two in ahead of me before I play this; and I'd rather not have a LAG behind me when open limping such a speculative hand.

With this...

Re: Top pair against 3-bet preflop

I hate taking weak lines like this but I don't seen any place we can bet this hand. There are so few hands we're ahead of here that I probably drop this on the turn.

Re: 4/8 Live: KQs

[ QUOTE ]
If you check that turn, you've now just induced a bet on the river which could easily be a smaller missed flush draw since he knows now that, at best, you likely have AK. However, beings...
