Re: M2TR shortstacker illuminati thread
I have a few questions for the teacher:
1. What bankroll management should use a shortstacker? If he plays like 20 BB stacks on 8 tables, is 25x20=500 BB bankroll enough?
2. Do you use...

200NL, overpair is turned to bluff
Opponent is a 28/28, my image is a TAG. His UTG raise did not necessarily meant an overpair. When he called my flop cbet (after a very long time), I put him on a smaller overpair like TT/JJ and...

Overall it's okay though it looks like you are beat by either a backdoor flush or QJ

Middle set in the dark tunnel
Opponent is 21/18/1.7, seemed to be a solid player, except that postfop is too passive. I put him on an overpair. The flush did not scare me as it was a backdoor flush, so I bet on the river to be...

200NL: AA gets terrible flop but has a flush draw
Opponent sat down a few hands before, I had no information about him. It was my first session at 200NL (played 100NL before) and the stakes looked like much more aggressive. People bet/raised the...

Re: ATs bvb, villain 3bets pre
Do you really think he will 3-barrel bluff against an opponent who raised preflop, then called the flop and the turn? JJ+ is much more likely if there is a river bet.

Re: ATs bvb, villain 3bets pre
Bet the flop. Or donkbet the turn. As played, his range could be very wide and you have no information. If you tried to induce a bluff, you have to call the turn.

Re: AK hits flop but faces huge overbet

remember that he didn't have odds to call for set value PF
[/ QUOTE ]
This was exactly what I thought when called him. To my surprise, he had A4s. Maybe he was tilting.

AK hits flop but faces huge overbet
I had A/images/graemlins/spade.gif,K/images/graemlins/spade.gif on the BB. The SB is 19/8 after 95 hands. What could he have? Was it a good call by me, or not?

Re: 99 vs TAG.
IMO it was not a bad play. As it is blind vs blind, I would sometimes bet the turn, depending on the player. The river fold is OK.

Re: 100NL - AK OOP - KQT flop
Bet pot the flop. If you are raised, fold and wait for a better spot. The only reasonable draw he could have on this flop is JJ, but you are behind his range which includes lots of 2 pair hands and...

Re: iPoker 100NL, two hands against the same fish
Thank you, guys.
In hand 1 he had Q8s for 2nd nut str8, and in hand 2 he flopped a set with 55.
I almost always reraise QQ preflop (my PFR% is 94% for QQ). In this case I decided to mix up my play...
