Re: QQ facing overbet push on flush board NL5
His line looks like a set of 5s, with a 5x5h perhaps because he called flop. He limped preflop and called a raise so it look like a good possibility.
The 4x PSB overbet on turn is probably him...

Re: Another common spot with AK
[ QUOTE ]
so what do you do when you miss 66% of the time? I am guessing c/f but that seems like a huge spew of cash over time.
[/ QUOTE ]
But folding AK can also be though of as spew. 4...

Re: 25nl: is this a dumb river bet?
That's a good point willy I didn't look carefully enough to see that we had a showdown hand. I guess my post was really for a hand that could not see showdown.

Re: NL10: TPTK Complete Idiot
Fold turn. You don't see this type of aggressive drawing at NL10 enough to make it worth while. If you have a read on him it may be different.
He knows you have at least TPGK so it would be a...

Re: 25nl: is this a dumb river bet?
You bet $6 into a $10 pot on the river. Let's go through some math:
Pretend you have a machine that flips a coin. The coin toss costs you $10 and if you win it gives you $10 (plus your money...

Re: NL25: att to steal, do i give up?
This guy is a calling station pre flop, nitty post flop but also tries some maniac bluffs post flop.
With K7s there is no need to raise even though you are ahead of his range. You should just...

Re: Did I play this too slow??
Flop is dry so I like the call. Turn needs raising though as he clearly has a hand that wants some action. But given he has only 50 BB you played it perfectly (considering you stacked him).

Re: 77 as overpair 3ways
You only beat 66 or Ax and I think Ax would check there to get to showdown cheaply. Heart draw would also not bet there too often.
Without reads it's not really worth calling over a 1/2 PSB on...

Re: 50NL: JJ gets 3 bet
Check / call to river is better. Bet river if checked to.
Like the previous poster said, you fold out worse hands with such a large raise on a dry board. The only good thing about the raise...

Re: 50NL: Does this turn bet mean I\'m committed?
On turn with Ax I'd rather check / call a raise under $15, trying to get to showdown without getting too much of the stack in. I'd fold to a large river bet against an ABC TAG. I don't think you...

Re: 50NL: KQ Flops 2pr multi-way
I think the preflop minraise is AA or AK enough that you can safely push. Considering that donks love the minraise and you had an inkling that he was one, it is a good push in my book.
I don't...

Re: The Pre Flop Raise
The problem is that if you are going to minraise good hands such as AJ or KQ then you really have to minraise great hands like JJ+. If you bet 3x BB for only your great hands then it will stand out...

Re: Best hand to play against AA?
[ QUOTE ]
65s has a 23.05% chance to beat AA pre-flop, 76s and 87s are very close: 23.03% and 23.02% respectively.

I can think of one reason why 87s is worse than 65s: If the...

Re: NL 25 limp/raise, what are they?
I think it means you have him beat on the flop simply because he would be worried about giving you a cheap draw otherwise. The only other possibility I can think of is that he flopped a high flush...
