How many 38+ vpip do you want at your table?
I seem to do better if there is only 2 or 3 players with a vpip of 38 or higher at the table.
If it is only me and 4 or 5 players with a VPIP of 38+ I struggle.
It only seems relevant in a 5 or 6...

Re: Going from ring to 6 max
I think that's unlikely, considering I have less than 200hands with most players and the majority of them takes their hands to showdown 37% or more, which pretty much means they are taken any pair to...

Going from ring to 6 max
Used to play 10-20 and 20-40 at party, but since they closed I have switched to six max at fulltilt. after 30k hands I'm going to showdown about 35% of time (about same as in ring game), but I'm only...

Re: What does this mean?
I would be very concerned with those # if you are still losing after 2,000 hands. I'm assuming this is 10handed.

Blind play in 20-40 and 30-60
When defending blinds in a 1/2 structure you only put in 22.5% to see flop. All hands has more equity based on pokerstove against a reasonable range of hands that Co and button would steal with, but...

Re: Party 50/100: I\'m confused
I have a hard time folding when a "sound player" makes a play that doesn't make sense. To me it seems like he is trying to make you lay down QQ, so I have to put him on 99-JJ, slight possibilty of...

Re: How much can a winning high-stakes player make?
If you are decent and I just don't mean you have read a book or two. You should be able to average between $50-$90/100hands and not play any higher than 30-60. You could probably average more in the...

10-20/20-40 vs 30-60 and 30-60 vs 50-100
I'm just starting to get my feet wet in 30-60 (2500 hands) and 50-100(1250 Hands). So far I don't think the difference between 10-20/20-40 and 30-60 is major. But I think the 50-100 plays a lot...

Re: 30/60 stat check
Yes, but I would not change anything if I where you considering the bb/100 you are having. But it would be the first place I would look if things would start to go south for you.
Nice to see a...

Re: 30/60 stat check
You are still going to showdown about 34% and I would suspect your fold to river bet is about 37%. Based on that I would think that a normal W$@SD would be about 56%, so you are more likely to be...

Re: To 2+2 who have been able to move up
Excellent point. But don't you think a lot more pots would be contested HU in 20?, so there would be more times where it "would make sense" to take A high and third pair to showdown, which would...

To 2+2 who have been able to move up
I have averaged 1.76bb/100 hands over 80,000 of 3-6 and 1.29bb/100 over 50,000 hands of 5-10 with a SD of 12 at 3-6 and 14 at 5-10. Don't think I have been running out of norm, I.e. won % of flop...
