Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (9 handed) internettexasholdem.com
MP3 ($18.25) CO ($14.40) Button ($24.84) SB ($10.30) BB ($23.90) UTG ($144.65) UTG+1 ($14.74) MP1 ($21.55) Heroine ($16.73) Preflop: Heroine is MP2 with Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of $0.10. UTG raises to $0.9, UTG+1 calls $0.90, MP1 calls $0.90, Heroine raises to $5, 5 folds, UTG calls $4.10, UTG+1 calls $13.84 (All-In) My table image is probably weak/tight. (I had folded to an all in bet after a big bet on the turn when the river paired the board.) UTG is 73% VPIP with 14.63 PFR UTG+1 is 34.21 VPIP MP1 is 43.1 VPIP I decided to go to war with my QQ. (They have to call $4.10 to win $8.05.) Or should I have just pushed? With the action after my raise, pot is $25.09. I have to put in $11.64 to call. A clear call? If either UTG+1 or MP1 had AA or KK I think they would have raised UTG before it got to me. I think UTG would have raised all in after my $5 raise if he held AA or KK, (or at least put me all in.) All comments appreciated. |

Looks pretty suspitious to me, and I agree with your analysis. I think you take your lumps with and just get it in with QQ here. Very often I find people doing crap liek this with middle PPs. Sure, sometimes villain will have AA and KK but not often enough, IMO, to find a fold, and calling seems pointless.
Heh. "Heroine." |

FWIW, the last time I made this same call holding QQ in this exact same spot the guy in UTG+1's spot showed me AA.
PS-Refill to a full stack. |

With those stats, I'm pushing.

(I'm struggling to decide if I can work on studying both SNG and NL cash at the same time or if I should just pick one.) At what point do you recommend refilling to a full stack? |

poker mom [/ QUOTE ] cool I think the preflop raise is fine (it's just about a pot-sized raise). When the action gets back to you, I push. You have the 3rd best hand. I agree with your analysis. It doesn't seem like either villain has you beat. At this level, I wouldn't be surprised to see AJs. |

I refill whenever I drop below 100BB. I want to maximize my gains when the possibilty of doubling up comes up.

At what point do you recommend refilling to a full stack? [/ QUOTE ] Always. One of the best parts of being online is that this is so easy. Every time you have less than 24.5, reload to 25. |

At what point do you recommend refilling to a full stack? [/ QUOTE ] I reload when my stack is below 80%. I generally think that players who let their full stacks dip below half are not very good. |
