relatively new to table, but I just hit a streak where I won four pots in a row (culminating in a knockout of someone with a flopped full with 92 in the BB vs. a turned flush).
Uhh, is he really dumb enough to take this line with a queen? What do I do here, how often do I have to be good, if I call, how big a river bet can I call, etc. PokerStars Game #5090970295: Tournament #25455352, $50+$5 Hold'em No Limit - Level VII (100/200) - 2006/05/29 - 17:01:20 (ET) Table '25455352 18' 9-max Seat #3 is the button Seat 1: J-C AA (10687 in chips) Seat 2: J9SUITED (16925 in chips) Seat 3: Cap'nJackpot (20245 in chips) Seat 4: The X Force (30430 in chips) Seat 5: yossie (6975 in chips) Seat 6: BustMe (4778 in chips) Seat 7: Sooners (2725 in chips) Seat 9: FlyingSumo (9890 in chips) J-C AA: posts the ante 25 J9SUITED: posts the ante 25 Cap'nJackpot: posts the ante 25 The X Force: posts the ante 25 yossie: posts the ante 25 BustMe: posts the ante 25 Sooners: posts the ante 25 FlyingSumo: posts the ante 25 The X Force: posts small blind 100 yossie: posts big blind 200 *** HOLE CARDS *** Dealt to Cap'nJackpot [Ah 9s] BustMe: folds yossie said, "ty krm" Sooners: folds FlyingSumo: folds J-C AA: folds J9SUITED: raises 400 to 600 Cap'nJackpot: calls 600 The X Force: folds yossie: folds *** FLOP *** [Qc 9h Qs] J9SUITED: bets 200 Cap'nJackpot: calls 200 *** TURN *** [Qc 9h Qs] [7s] J9SUITED: bets 200 Cap'nJackpot: raises 1050 to 1250 J9SUITED: raises 1050 to 2300 Cap'nJackpot: thinks "LOL WTF" |

J9SUITED is Cloutier's acct, but I've played against some real donks using that account. I really think you have at best 5 outs.

Oh yeah, my bad.
But I know J9SUITED from somewhere. Let me rack my brain or look for notes. |

Yeah, he's actually shown to be decent in my opinion. I don't know WTF this is. Maybe some 3rd level thinking?
I'm calling down here I think. Just because this is weird as hell, and also because I like calling. |

Let's get a range here. Would a queen make these minbets on the flop and turn? Would a player bad enough to not build the pot with trips here be bad enough to make this play without a queen? I mean, either he has it or he doesn't, right? And if he doesn't, how often is that the case, and what does he have? |

Obviously you don't have 5 outs vs AA, but otherwise. |

I'm calling down here I think. [/ QUOTE ] I assume you mean calling down as opposed to raising the turn? I think that was they key mistake here. As played, I fold. |
