Default KK against Capper

No real read on Capper, but the game was generally loose and aggressive up until that point.

What does a sane player have here that we beat besides QQ?

I considered that, but couldn't think of what else the other player had other than an AA or QQ that was afraid of the 2nd J on the river. And to be honest, it wasn't impossible that MP3 had a J and would raise me.

Not much, but wouldn't it be funny if he folded AA? It's also 50/50 he has QQ v. AA, and you're better if he might be a little nutty and have TT. And the other guy's going to call with his A9, providing some overlay

Could be overplaying AK or AQ.

I also think that MP3 still being in the hand makes betting slightly worse.

Meh, he doesn't seem like much of a threat. More like he knows UTG+1 is a jackass, and he wants to see a showdown.

The only read we've got is:

the game was generally loose and aggressive

[/ QUOTE ]

UTG+1's line is weird. If the field is aggro, I don't see him getting scared with QQ+ when the second jack falls, but I can see his playing like this with a hand like TT or A9s/K9s/KQ/etc; especially after Hero smooth-calls his 3-bet on the flop. Yes, he overplayed somewhere, but he's significantly underplaying his hand on the river if he has a hand that beats us.

:g:

You should have cut the action because its MP3 that that concerns me a bit on the river ... what [censored] hand calls 3 cold pf, then calls 1 million bets on flop then more bets on turn... I cant see calling a 3-bet with KQs... but who knows. I think AJs or JTs (WTF!?!) is a large enough part of his range in combination with utg holding AA to not raise.
