Wilson Staff True, I won a dozen a couple years ago and haven't looked back. When I find them, I buy them.

As a mid hcp player, who doesn't want to spend a ton of money on balls I think the Srixon AD333 is great value for money.

Anyway, I bought a 15-back of Top Flite D2 Feel, and I'm gonna break 'em out this weekend. I'm wondering if I should have gone with the distance ball instead, although it sounds like this ball flies plenty far.

Well, that was interesting. I swung the club terribly so I can't really review it much, but I did notice a marked difference in my short game, in that the D2 Feel flew off my clubface a lot more than all the old balls I've always used. I chipped over the green several times and never really adjusted to it.

But I now believe that a ball can make a bit of a difference.

I invested the princely sum of $15.99 + tx to check out the D2 Feel because of this thread. After one round, I have determined that these balls do not want to stay on the golf course.

I lost a bunch, too, but I was really swinging poorly -- I wasn't just spraying the ball all over the place; I was making bad contact, topping shots, etc.

Were you hitting the ball well?

I am going to give them another shot on Saturday.
