I'm glad to see you are at least respecting the views of the forum and considering a split even though you really don't want to, but I think your criteria for making a split happen, while not asking too much or anything, is just kind of meaningless.
Either
1) for the next week people post a lot of hands to sway your opinion and get the HS forum started

2) people don't because it's not a HS forum and the whole reason for a split is to be able to seperate the 2 stakes

I'm sure #1 is more likely to happen, but either way whatever happens isn't proving anything about what would actually happen with a new forum. The traffic will be fine im 100% confident. It's pretty much just reorganizing the posts so that the higher quality discussion stays on the front page longer, like what bond said. I wouldn't care if the HSmtt forum got 12423954823432 posts a day like the current one does, as long as the threads are good and easy to access.

I am not talking in the scope of a week, but rather longer term, a month. Of course people will be posting a ton during the first week. Same thing that happens when a poker room opens a new game, everyone plays it for a while then it settles down to normal traffic.

I don't see the rationale behind wanting a ton of posts a day.

How many new posts are started each day in HSNL?

Nevertheless, how beneficial is it to read for aspiring MSNL players and such?

How good is the discussion?

Do you think a lot of the HSNL hands would be posted in a general NL forum?

How quickly would the interesting hands get lost by a swarming of standard $10NL posts?

I think these are all relevant analogies.

Also there is plenty of interaction between HSNL/MSNL and MSNL/SSNL. I just don't see why turneys, while generally simpler than cash games, are just lumped into 1 turney forum.

I am not talking about posts. I am talking about views. Read my response to Foucault.

Jurollo,

I'd just like to commend you for apologizing and for saying that the other side's view may be worthwhile. In a heated debate like this, that takes a good man to do. Especially with the aggressive tone ansky et al took (which I hate, but whatever).

Unique views aren't effected (affected?) by this.

I don't really get what you mean. Whatever, I don't really want to argue anymore with you... you're a cool guy I just think you are going to be down on a split no matter what the results and are just trying to put meaningless obstacles in the way, but I could be way off.
