i'm done arguing with you; you are arguing something completely different now. splitting the forums wont affect higher stakes players helping lower stakes players nor are they obliged to do so. your arguments sound like a bunch of whining to me

not a beginner per se...despite registration date, ive been on 2p2 forums for a while (i guess at least a year or so), and playing poker since 02. i just cant see the positives of it, when people generally act like microplayers opinions dont matter, so they ignore, so they cant get better [/ QUOTE ] Honestly you have no reason to complain, high stakes players arent really reading the low stakes threads anyways, and theres nothing to stop a low stakes player from posting opinions on the high stakes forum or anything like that, the only difference is organizational. Your [censored] about it is pointless and not really thought through. Im a low stakes player and I like the split idea, MTTs will be less of a cluster[censored] that way. edit: 2+2 censor missed a word |

Go ahead and split it, it cant get any worse than it is now.

As an add on, 2p2 is not a training site, it is a collective exchange of ideas, expecting high stakes players to comment on low stakes hands because they're on this site is asinine, hence the EXCHANGE in exchange of ideas.
Now it's great if they decide to help out, but an expectation of them to do so is rediculous |

The main reason a high stakes forum wouldn't happen is the fear that it might not get enough traffic. From the posts in this thread though it seems like would.

misclick, all your arguments about why splitting the forum is bad have little to do w/ splitting the forum.
For example [ QUOTE ] also, it might be basic to you, but not to them. it wouldnt hurt, even just a few words, for them to know what should be done [/ QUOTE ] Yes, it would be good if knowledgeable players responded to low stakes threads. It's true, but irrelevant. The sky is blue. True, but irrelevant. This is relevant: How does a forum split impact the likelihood that a knowledgeable player will respond to a low stakes thread? The answer: Not very much (IMO). If you want to make a case against splitting the forum, at least make one that is relevant. |

i think he meant the traffic will be fine. I agree for the reason that bond makes enough posts himself to keep a forum going.
I also expect a decent influx of the better pocketfivers to post more strat hands |

if anything, it would only hurt the lower stake post count, but who cares about that, right?
