i support this, atleast for a trial period.

I would also be against it as a player who is earnestly trying to build a BR to move up to higher stakes (while not playing professionally). Which is why I try to contribute to the high buy-in questions despite not playing them.

I suppose I would spend about equal time in both forums. However, I would feel that I had to spend an obligatory amount of time in the lower forum b/c I feel like I "owe" people advice there.

I would certainly learn a lot more myself in the higher buy-in forum. I don't know. It's bad enough I have to open two browsers to see MTTs and MTTc.

meh? what is stopping you from reading HSMTT? Nothing.

How many high stakes players respond to the low stakes posts anyway? like no one.

Also, this has been brought up many times before, but the dynamic of the forum was different in the past. It was generally way better, and the low stakes posts did not dominate. Now, it seems way more needed.

I would like to see this. I play FR(no jokes please) cash and when they created the FR forum it made it a lot easier to find info relevant to FR.

I'm too lazy to post much in the Strat forum but I do read it and it would be a lot easier if it was split into High and Low. I think the main reason for it is that the strat. is different between a low buy-in and a high buy-in tournament.

I worked my way up from playing micro's to playing higher buy-in tournaments and I've had to adjust my game as I went along. I think having the forum split would make this transition easier.
