I could put 1000 or 1500 online, and maybe hire a coach depending on the deal.

Before I posted on 2+2, I used poor BR strategy to play sngs. I deposited 40-50 the first 4 times. I tried to beat 5.50 and 11 sngs with 5 or 10 buyins. I understood after I joined 2+2 that my BR strategy was pretty unrealistic.

Cash games, I had 20 buyins for 10nl. I took at shot at 25nl a few weeks ago and lost a buyin. This week I lost about 6 buyins over a few sessions, and this weekend I drunkenly ended up taking a shot at 100nl with last 100.

I honestly made a serious attempt at 10nl for a couple months, but I didn't do very well.

I do think a part of it is playing when I am exhausted, due to thats the only down time I have. I think you can relate bc I know you grind a sick amount of hands out at the limits you play with a busy schedule.

One way to look at poker when you are playing stakes where the money doesnt mean anything is that you are just playing that level so you can get to a higher level (and learn a little on the way). Id say play NL10 with 20 buyins, wait til you get that up to 20 buyins of NL25 and then move up. dont look at it like making a less than desired amount of money, look at it as trying to accomplish a goal. at some point along the line the money will become something that is worth caring about to you

(you can play with a deeper roll if you choose, the #s here were mostly just to give you the picture)

also, feel free to AIM me with hands ---- 'gotmuie'

This advice sounds very familiar Diamond . . . . wonder where I've heard that before?

I gave him the same exact advice about BR management this weekend.

Can I get some feedback on this one? This is in the 8am $10rebuy on stars. We're down to 29 runners at this point and I'm sitting in about 20th place. I know Villain 1's play pretty well and am pretty sure he is on two overs but don't know the all-in shover at all.

Oh man - is it that maybe once-in-the-spring and once-in-the-fall ultra-rare weather in SF when you can be on your roof in a t-shirt at midnight? Everyone has their windows open and you can actually hear your neighbors at night. It's like whole different place. Really a magical time to be in the city.

Gramps, it was way too hot yesterday here. That game was fun, but broke a sweat. Also could not sleep last night because houses here in the Bay do not come with AC.

I hate global warming,

Yeah... we get that weather every once in a while in the East Bay, and by "once in a while," I mean "April though November."

I was wondering why helicopters were circling my house and occasionally blasting it with the spotlight at 3 AM.
