Default 100NL - Torn with JJ

Villain is 33/9/.68 over 90 hands. He is fairly new to the table, but probably views me as a lagtag if he's paying attention.

Without a specific read, I'd make a note and probably fold here. It'd be nice to know with what range he cold calls a CO openraise or floats the flop, and how he usually reacts to a second barrel. Does he really have TT, A9, or a flush draw often enough here?

And I hate c/c turn.

I believe this is pretty read dependent because I've seen a ton of people do this with draws to get FE. I might call if I think he'd do this, but if he's fairly conventional postflop I may fold it. We all know the 2 didn't change anything because I doubt he has that 2, so if you think he's a tricky slowplay type guy then maybe fold, but if he bluffs call.

AF-0.68 I actually wouldn't be surprised to see a 2 here. I had a guy chase btm on me in a pot tonight and lead for like 1/8 pot on the river when he hit his kicker.

If he were more aggro then I may call but he seems to be too passive. I'd fold.

the way it's played I think it's a fold since hes so passive postflop, FWIW I also like a turn c/c and if he check behind turn I value bet river

Remember, AF takes way longer to converge than VPIP and PFR. The sample is pretty small, so while the V/P may be accurate, AF probably isn't.

I guess to make this call, we need to know that draws are in his range. Since he is an unknown, and I have no reason (yet) to believe that he is capable of doing this with a draw, I guess a fold is best.

If draws aren't in his range, what do you think his range is?

And yea, C/C turn obv sucks.

Bet more on the flop. With your almost 1/2pot bet on the flop he could 2 here. Fold turn.
