i prolly call and fold to turn barrel or something like that

edit: all i really know is that raising is bad. and folding might be mad. but turn play is a bit confusing if villian is capable of two barrelling but i usually just give him credit on second barrel.

2nd edit: im also a bit intoxicated so take this all with a grain of salt.

Agree, I will call to see what he does on the turn. i would probably give up if he bet out again.

Tank and call. Probably go broke with this stack but it depends what he bets.

Any reason you didn't 3-bet him preflop?

Look at the stacks. If Hero 3-bets, AK successfully bluffs him, QQ+ take him for more than the minimum (and he loses the opportunity to flop a set and stack them), dominated hands fold, and he loses the opportunity to play his position post-flop. The only real benefit is folding out like AQ, KQ, and rag Aces. With position, this should be less of a concern.

Obviously calling flop and folding turn is super exploitable, but unless you know your opponent is capable of exploiting it, it's probably the best line anyway. The fact the board is paired may even help you to get a cheap showdown, if Villain is particularly pessimistic/passive.

Turning a J is really my preferred line though.

Yea as far as pre flop goes i really prefer calling.

As long as we're on the subject, what do people do with QQ here pre? (I lean towards reraising more)

Probably raise, depending on table and site. You want it heads up so a raise if necessary to do that. If it's likely to be just you and CO anyway, I tend to prefer a call.
