[ QUOTE ]
I donated plasma twice when I was a freshman in college. I remember listening to all the crackheads talk about using the money to buy dope when the needle was still in their arm. What a horrible experience. [/ QUOTE ] If you are taking anything but cookies in exchange for your donated platelets you are doing it wrong and so are the people collecting it, imo. If you find a blood bank that only deals with unpaid volunteer donors you should run into considerably fewer crackheads. That said, my friends always ask me how much I get paid to "donate," which always baffles me as much as BHMDYL. |

One time I was at the doctor's office and this bitch was all like 'pee in a cup' and I'm like w/e don't talk to me like that hoe but I did it anyways cuz I'm a nice guy so she's like when you're done let me know so I open the door and she's like ok bring it over here... so I have to walk across the waiting area with a clear plastic unlidded cup full of my warm urine, it's like 30 steps and there's like 15 people just sitting there watching me.
Obviously I tripped over my foot and got like 1/4 of it on me and the carpet. |

People sell plasma to centers, this plasma is then used to make medicine. |

My blood bank collects various blood components as demand warrants, sometimes separating and keeping multiple components from one donor.
Using the the stuff squeezed from crackheads for things like vaccines and research rather than for transfusions would make sense. |

Blood for Gas
rofl: Craig believes selling his plasma was just what he needed to compensate for gas prices. "Your body is like an underground oil reserve," he said. "The plasma people just need to tap it for you." |
