I hate being in this position. I prefer a turn b/f.

Ness-

Villain is pretty bad from what I have observed. I have only been at the table maybe 3 orbits. I am assuming villain is an idiot I have not won a pot yet, my cont. bets have been picked off a few times.

My flop bet was designed to induce a bluff, though really wtf was I thinking?!

i am not sure if the fact that he is a total idiot makes me want to call or even more sure i should fold.

if i haven't seen him make any similar bluffs or betting when scared cards hit a lot, i fold.

In retrospect I think my play on this hand may have been influenced by Daft Punk. I was listening to Daft Punk at the time. Daft Punk rules!

I think you have to call this bet if you're going to check turn. Your line is weak and there is no reason villian should think you have a hand. After he checks to you on turn, I think you're much better off betting and checking behind on river if he calls turn.

Hi Quarkncover,

I have never played 6-max so can't give any help on the strategy, but I will make a general comment ...

If you induce a bluff, you HAVE to call! Better to not induce a bluff at all than to induce one and fold. I think you know this from your post subject.

Flop bet is a bit small IMO. On such a draw heavy board/multiple opponents, I like to bet bigger to protect my hand.

Turn is an interesting hand imo. Yes, you check to induce a bluff, but why do you think opponent is bluffing? Most cards possible could have helped him on both the turn and river.

Also, if you are inducing a bluff, what are you beating? I really don't think villan is bluffing here, and merely value betting. Did you also check for pot control? I fold here and find a better spot. Reads would help, even though at times they are hard to come by.
