this happened a couple of times with me, i have no regrets. once it was a girl in china but she was pretty happy to take a $20 and given the circumstances i was happy to give it. the other time was in vegas strip club where a hot girl was giving a dance on stage, i accidentally took a $20 out and as i was pulling it back she lunged at me grabbing the $20 and putting her hand down my pants.

I'm actually gonna do something un-BBV-ish and give you a serious reply.
The thing is you're 18. People with more experience are going to take advantage of you in money situations because of that fact. Because you have no or still very little "life experience". Not all people of course.
I'm 29 now, so I'm not that old yet, I still remember a lot of stuff like this that I've gone through when I was around 20, like scammed by carsalesmen and such, although I've never been to a strip club. But I'm old enough that I wouldn't let someone grab my wallet, take money out of it, and I certainly wouldn't just ask for "some" of it back.
So what I'm trying to say is, you're 18, this was a beat, and many are yet to come before you get wiser.

there is this one place called the sex machine i think. its where you go in, talk to the receptionist, then she puts you in a room for 20 mins with a stripper 1 on 1. pretty cool concept right? well when you talk to this receptionist she asks you, "do you want penetration?" its like 20 extra bucks or somethin. youd think that means sex, but it really means they give you access to this nasty looking machine that jerks you off.

When I was in Vegas, the only place I got carded was at Caesar's. Wynn, Bellagio, and Venetian never looked twice. Now, of course, I am 21 and I'm also tall with a beard that might make me look older, but I really doubt that it would have been impossible for you to play poker while you were down there.

Also, if you go back and want to go to a strip club, just go the Rhino. Usually the chicks at the smaller clubs are just the ones that aren't hot enough to dance at the nice places anyway. And you'll get plenty nice dances there for $20 without having to worry about any bitches reaching in your wallet.

I love how since OP has posted a ton people are lining up to pat him on the back and tell him it's all right. If some noob posted the exact same story he would be torn to shreds. I'm not saying either treatment is right or wrong -- it's just a strong dichotomy.

Basically this entire trip report is an absolute disaster. Yes, that sucks. Life lesson. Blah, blah.

But COME ON. OP blew into Vegas with only $500, a stripper basically stole it, and then OP sat around being all, "at least give me some back." What's worse, I gather that OP rolls fairly large at the poker table, so it really is feasible for him to write off the loss. It's not like he had to scrub cum off the floors for a few weeks to build a big enough nut for a ticket home.

This is where it is good to have people with vegas experience with you. Most anyone can tell you that cab drivers are all on the take with these Strip clubs, and get anywhere from $20 to $100( I hear) for bringing in customers. Yeah, you got owned hard, but at least you didn't go out like no punk bitch.

If it makes you feel any better, there is a very good chance that the stripper/hooker who stole from you is a drug-addicted single mother who lives in a $700 studio apartment near the Stratoshpere with her abusive, alcoholic boyfriend, who has her sleep with his friends for $$$ and tells her he is her ticket to the big time.
