I don't know why people play tournaments but as far as cash games go, despite there being a risk of shady business (collusion, bots, etc.), I still make a lot of money playing. I also (*gasp*) enjoy playing poker.
If things get bad to the point where I can no longer play profitably or do not enjoy poker any more, I'll make a change. |

Just a couple of honest questions.
Does anyone think that cheating in live tournaments is not reasonably common? Same question for internet play. From my own somewhat limited experience on the tournament circuit there was a reasonable level of cheating going on and there was no secret about it. This was a while back but the same faces still play. The scam I heard about was where one player would stake multiple 'horses' or more accurately 'mules' The understanding was that the 'mule' would dump chips to the backer who also played if and when it was needed. The backer in question is a famous tournament player who is well known for his love of Corona. However just don't bother thinking about how this could be addressed by the somewhat sensible ideas proposed by the OP. Just keep on with the insults saying 'she' is an obviously loser who blames cheats for bad results. For the rest of you dick wavers that like to come out with the 'I make $500 per hour anyway' statements think on this. $500 an hour could become a lot more if the cheats were cleaned out or at least discouraged by some more active policing. At least a change of priorities might help before a large and public cheating scandal gives poker a black eye it may not recover from. That kind of stuff affects us all. |

no, $500/hr would not come out to more per hour. there is nobody cheating at the stakes i play. therefore the best course of action is to stop yelling about it like that [censored] guy on the street with the jesus sign before you scare my fish away
