Is there any value in calling and re-evaluating on turn?

No need to evaluate turn.. He shoves any turncard... Now what?

ok, so then when you advocate pushing the flop instead of calling, I guess that's a bluff?

Thanks for input everyone. I went AI, he called w/ a flopped a set of 4's.

Christmas miracle spiked me a Q on the turn, but that doesn't mean I was happy with my play.

I dont think so because there are so many cards you dont want to see on the turn. You have to make your decision now. Villain is giving you enough information on the flop, your not going to learn much more on the turn. Whether he checks or bets, you are still in a tricky situation.

If this was true the obvious play would be call and always call turn no matter what comes because he would never fold a worse hand which he easliy could do if you push flop
