Deceptive, and works well with postflop proficiency. Not bad.
And of course, you do hit flops too, and option expand then. Hmm. |

I think this villain's calling range was tighter than that: all pairs, A8+ and two broadway cards but we're still not in bad shape if called. [/ QUOTE ] You are 32% against that range with pot odds. That range is 17% of his hands. You make 7400 if he folds. You average loss is about 21K compared to folding if called. So your average gain would be 2700 by pushing compared to folding. Wow.. checked in SnGPT and betgo's right... pushing > folding here. I dunno if that makes it better than your other options, but def don't fold. [/ QUOTE ] c'mon, I think you play SNG's, you should know better than to say that because SNGPT explicitly doesn't say this. (hint: RANGE) also, SNGPT is off for MTT's due to prize structure issues, although I'm not sure what the offset is also also, I complete and stuff, there is no particular reason to shove with 15 BB and no particular reason to open fold. |

[/ QUOTE ] I agree that SNGPT is not Gospel. However, I did calculations for a 17% call range which showed it was significantly cEV+ compared to folding. It would be hard to find a calling range where pushing isn't cEV+ compared to folding. I tend to agree that completing is probably the best play. Open folding an average hand is very weak/tight. |

What your software doesn't take into account is how much better you are than your opponents. If you think you will have better spots then does it truly make sense to just donk all in with T7 here? You're not a bot. Is what you pick up in blinds if he folds really going to help your current situation much more?
I just dont get the all-in play here, but thats me |
