I arrived on this table about two/three orbits ago and BB was table chip leader. It has been open restealing season on his stack and he's dropped about 20k in that time.
I've probably been the most active pre-flop at the table, resteal-pushing once and open pushing in LP a few more times. I've made one standard raise in LP that wasn't called. I guess I would have been top 10 in chips overall. No one has looked me up, or even considered it judging by reaction times. What do we do here? walk seems fine. [/ QUOTE ] <mutters something about getting stomped down by Godzilla at the wrong time> If everybody's doing it, he might feel differently if a SB did it to him in a BB. With T7o, I wouldn't give him the opportunity to flex. |

Raise two and a half X BB and get those 7k chips?

How about completing and raising any flop for a change of speed?

Slightly riskier given stack size, but I like it. (Well, I would. )

Basically, there are four options that are all fine here:
1) Fold. 2) Raise and fold to push. 3) Limp and push over a reasonably sized raise. If he checks and you whiff, bet. 4) Limp and fold to a raise. If he checks and you whiff, bet. I'm sure one is better than the other in this specific instance, but it really depends on how he views you and how maniacal he is. It's also very important to vary what you do here if he's even the slightest bit aware of what's going on. I usually complete the first time, and if they raise, I'll fold with the intention of complete/pushing the next time. I mainly do this to learn how he'll respond to a limp and to set up some nice metagame where both my limps and my raises look stronger to him. But, this can change pretty easily depending on very specific reads. |

Allin. Walk is terrible. I don't mind raise or limp.

I've been trying to teach myself a couple of things lately. One is that whenever its my BB I don't have some god given right to those chips, the SB can actually have a hand and raise with it and its ok to give him the blinds every once in a while. The other is that when it folds to me in the SB, there's no law that says I have to raise.
