On behalf of Politics Forum Dems, I'm trying not to count those chickens, but I'm certainly making sure I know where the roost is at. I'll still feel bummed if we don't take the Senate, but there will definately be a gloating thread if we take the House.

[/ QUOTE ]

I have bookmarked threads from two yrs ago where I bragged about us retaking one if not both houses -

yes, there will be gloat

if we don't retake the house I think every pollster and educated person in the would would jump on the election fraud bandwagon - almost a mathemetical certainity.

senate is too close but sounds like it'll come down to VA/TN/MO - best 2 out of 3 win

While I'll refrain from gloating tomorrow, I am looking forward to the inevitable Whiskeytown conspiracy "vote stealing" thread that will be posted.

Do us proud with lots of outrage and vitriol.

I love the "mathematical certainty" that the numbers that unreliable pollsters produce must be better than the votes that real people cast on election day. Heck, why not cancel election day and just go with the polls?

I voted democrat this year out of disgust with the republicans (in fact, I made 4 political donations this year after never before having made one) and there are two things I want to see from them: stem cell research and an attempt at a balanced budget. If they can give me those two things they'll have my vote again in 2008.

Besides five or six of the nine Supreme Court Justices, how many lawyers do the Republicans have lined up tomorrow to steal the election?

Not as many as the Dems do.

Republicans are happy to live with the verdict of the voters. Only when Democrat judges, like those on the Florida Supreme Court, decide to rewrite the existing laws of the state legislatures to arrange a result contrary to the choice of the voters, do we need to simply say: "your rewrite is invalid".

Exit polling is the most accurate polling. It should be within 0.5%. When this number varies by much in elections around the world the USA looks on those elections as having voter fraud. It is hard to see where it wouldn't show the same here.

To me it doesn't really matter what happens in this election. W has confirmed that he is totally unhinged and this will not ever change. The Republicans have shown that they do not care about governing this nation other than keepign taxes low and maintaining power.

I'm sure President Kerry agrees with you.

When was the last time they did an exit poll of absentee ballots?

After all the mistakes made by the exit polls, you would think people would realize how unreliable they are.

Don't worry, there won't be any election day fraud. That was SO last couple of elections. It's more fashionable to keep Democrats away from the poll than to actually find a way to lose their vote:
RNCC Robocalling voters in an attempt to anger and deceive voters into not voting Democratic.
