You check call and turn is a blank. Now you are playing for stacks.
It does greatly devalue your hand to bet the flop, but how much are you making from a worse hand here (probably AK) anyway? |

Or maybe check raise that flop then let him have the tough decision

If the 100nl at ft is playing anything like the 200/400nl has been recently(particularly post ban) whatever line I take won't include folding.
My preferred line is c/c c/r all in on turn though. If turn gets checked through I'll c/c most rivers. QQ is the new KK. I don't tend to do alot of folding w/ it. Paul |

[/ QUOTE ] Not true. I find that AK will rarely double barrel here in these spots. So the action will usually go c/c on the turn if he has AQ/AK. I'm not too concerned w. him hitting his 6 outer. I think we will usually be able to check it down (sometimes c/c river) most times if he has missed overs. |

That's a bit different though Paul. My villian is a complete unknown.

I don't like bet/folding here. You're giving an unknown too much credit, IMO.
Without read, c/c, reevaluate on turn (and I'd lead out often on safe turns). Against bad players and/or maniacs, I like a flop CR. |

The average unknown(and even seemingly snug known tags) seem to be much more aggresive recently. I don't know whether this is the case at the 100s though. If you think it isn't then I like c/c flop c/f turn. If turn gets checked through c/c non A/K rivers. Paul |
