Underpair on monotone flop
Villain was unknown. I usually raise preflop, I'm not sure why I chose not to here. Anyways, what's your line? If I were to raise preflop, lead the flop, and get raised, how should I proceed with this opponent (on a club turn in particular)?
Limit: $3/$6 5 players Converter Pre-flop: (5 players) Hero is BB with 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] UTG calls, 3 folds, 3 folds, Hero checks. Flop: 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2.33SB, 2 players) Hero ___________?

I rarely raise in this spot unless I know opponent to be weak-tight. There's probably some good arguements for it so I'll listen to what others have to say.
As played I lead the flop if called i'm pretty much giving up. We are OOP and the pot is as small as they come.

I know the hands aren't very similar, but your post reminded me of this post from MHSH which contained this link to an Andrew Prock post about small PPs in the blind. Interesting read.

I agree with Carmine. I don't think that I raise this PF ever OOP against 1 opponent who limped 2 off the button. Against an unknown I lead the flop and fold to a raise. Unless they are raising with air and no club you are at best a coinflip on this board and, are almost as likely to be pretty far behind when raised with nothing worth fighting for. I think the turn decision if they peel will be harder. I think I would b/f pretty much any turn, especially a club, against an unknown who limped PF (this suggests to me that they are a bit on the passive side, but who knows).

I think raising preflop here and checking are both viable options, and it comes down to reads. If I'm playing a player who will quickly fold a flop if it is raised, a preflop raise is good. I just check against an unknonw.
On the flop, I donk, folding to a raise. In fact, unless a 3 comes on the turn, one SB is all I'm putting in here.
