If you understand the idea that luck is just variance, then you should clarify your question and give a time frame.
If you're talking about one session, luck is very important. If you're talking about an entire lifetime of poker, luck becomes a non-significant factor. As the number of hands played (sample size) approaches infinity, the impact of luck (variance) disappears. |
