I consider 3.5x a strong raise here & 2.5x a weaker raise.
Especially when the BB is almost 2x your stack. Another reason why the push all in is the best choice here. |

Would you make the 2.5xBB raise with AA or bigger? Go all-in? The 2.5xBB would give you a few options to play post-flop.

[/ QUOTE ] the raise size all depends on the BB's propensity for calling raises from the CO. if you have a tight, straight-forward rock in the BB I like the 250 raise for the reasons mentioned above. because of the awkward stack size (the old 13-11 BB quandry) i think a bet of 250 size makes sense. I think if you're going to bet 350 here you might as well push. |
