yes, they work great for what they claim to do, which is whitening your teeth. but i also experienced an unpleasant side effect (which they mention in the instructions) of extreme sensitivity while the strips were in. it was ok in the beginning, but after several days it got progressively worse.

Used the original Crest Whitening Strips several years back. I still get comments- great stuff. As far as the sensivity issue, how long did you keep them in? It's only supposed to be for what, 15-20 minutes (sorry, it's been a while), right? Are you saying your teeth were that sensitive in that 15-20 minute period, or in the 2 weeks you used the strips? I'd say there was minor sensitivity issues, but not to the extreme you described.

I did the Zoom in office whitening and my teeth were much much whiter. It hurt like a mofo but the results were worth it. It was a little pricey but for the results I got thought it was worth it. Forget those stupid strips and just get it done at your dentists office or have him make you some sleep trays so you can whiten overnight.

My GF got zoom done and I didn't think it got the results the Whitening Strips got me. Of course, I suppose it depends where you're starting. I'd say the whitening strips are good if you want to move up 2-3 steps on the white scale. If you have a mouthful of baked beans, Zoom is probably the way to go.

i like sticking with: not smoking, brush teeth 3 times a day, minimal amounts of dark sodas, and i chew a fair amount of Trident Gum. my teeth arent amazingly white but people have said something about how white they are before.

this belongs in the thread where people brag about stuff thats makes them lame (like not owning a TV). Obviously a complete lifestyle change works, but this is OOT, were looking for fast answers and quick fixes.

I've used both the Crest Whitening Strips and the Oral-B Rembrandt whitenting strips. Both work really well and after only 7 days now.

The Crest ones have a gel stuff that is messy and tastes like crap. The Oral-B stuff is more like a plastic mold that fits on your teeth and has a mint flavoring. They both worked about the same and cost the same price so I would recommend the Oral B.

I got a double pack at Costco for pretty cheap a little over a month back.
