When will side games in general be at a height in Vegas during the Series? In the middle of it?

Is the Big Game already in World Series mode?

And speaking of it- do a lot of unknowns drop by into the game during the Series? I know the 4K-8K game runs almost constantly during the WSOP, but wasn't sure if it's just the same crew as the rest of the year.

2) If I play satellites all the time and want to sell the lammers I win I will not be able to sell them for face value. Kinda like W$ on Stars.

[/ QUOTE ]
This is not correct.

[/ QUOTE ]

Then what is the point of the lammer in the first place? Worse case scenario you cash it out, then by into another satellite. Thats not such a big deal.

[/ QUOTE ]

Because once a lammer is sold, it has to, at some point, be cycled through a tournament, either at a higher level STT or in an event.

[/ QUOTE ]

the confusion is coming from the Rio people "not allowing" the lammers to be used on anything lower than a $500 buyin. So most people are pretty annoyed that they can't play a <$500 sngs with the $500 lammer.

They'll probably look the other way, but who knows.

Jedster, regarding that WSOP promotion, does that apply to all WSOP events? I assume that only applies for that event for that day.

Billy, you go busto in the days main event. You go to the venetian. You show them your busto ticket from that day's main event. If the date matches the current date, they will let you play rake free or time free for 6 hours.

-You can't use the single table sattelite winner 'chips' to buy into single table sattelites, this sucks.

[/ QUOTE ]

Actually, you can use the winner 'chips' to buy-in into satellites that are over $500.

For example, the $525s ($575s? I forgot)... you can use a chip for the 500 and loose change for the rest.

So a quick way to get rid of the chips would be to hang around the sat line for the 525/575 and sell each person a chip for $500 cash.

There is no Sattelite line. Floormen would walk over to a table and call off what sattelite it is and first come first serve, just like previous years. It was wierd, sometimes they'd fill immediately no matter what the buy in, sometimes it would be 10 minutes or so.

When I was there last night they had people "line up", I guess I can call it. It was really a jumble of people waiting to go into their respective sats, be it 125, 175, 325, or 525, all in the corner of the sat area, and the "line" that was longest usually got called for the next open table.

So if there's a "line", I suggest going to it to pawn the chips. If they're calling a table that's $525+, go to the table to sell the chips.

"On Live at the Bike, one of the co-hosts called from vegas and said he put himself on the list for 5-10 NL. He was 48th."

48th!?! How many games are running on average? I'm sure the games at Bellagio, Caesar's, & Wynn would be worth playing.
