2/4 6 Max, 3 hands I (mis?)played yesterday, all on different tables. Comments appreciated.

Hand 1 - I hadn't been at the table very long, I'd made a few pre-flop raises and hadn't played any big pots. Villain had been making loose calls and weakish bets, I hadn't seen him play a big pot either.

what does he cold call you with on the flop? there's no draw, it's pretty much a dry board, I think you're pretty much dead here unless this guy calls you with AQ / AJs or whatever. Looks like a smallish PP to me

standard...mainly because of the RR call PF. Only AA and AKs beats you here, think that a set is not very likely. Probably QQ or something.

Your game seems alot more 'open' than mine so you might find my analysis weak tight.

Hand 1- check fold this on turn or maybe lead out (opponent dependent and this would be the last $ I pot into that pot).

Hand 2- I don't like raising this type of hand out of the BB against an unknown opponent. After that though you played it fine (though leading the turn works too).

Hand 3- Given your read this is ok.

hand 1 - very opponent dependant. Don't like doing this against loose callers.

hand 2 - pf, probably make it 50 or 55. Flop is fine, though I don't quite bet $100. Betting out turn is fine too.

I'd expect AQ to be the best hand against a button open-raiser, if I reraise I'll usually be able to take the pot pre-flop or on the flop.

On the turn, does he have A9 or a medium pair often enough for me to call his bet? Wouldn't those hands push the flop if they wanted to continue?

What do you put him on? At the time I thought he was quite weak because of his pre-flop limp on the button and his turn bet.

I actually did make it $50 pre-flop, I raised to $18 pre-flop in hand 1 too. The converter mustn't have worked properly, not that it makes much difference to how the hands played out.

In hand 3 does anyone check behind on the turn, bearing in mind we have the K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]?

I guess these weren't that interesting, I'd lost the most I had in a single day for a good while so I thought I'd question a couple of hands. It didn't help that I was killed by monster hands in each case.

Hand 1 - Villain called with A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] for the straight.

Hand 2 - Villain had a set of 2s.

Hand 3 - Villain called with A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] for the flush.
