I played the 9-18 on Tuesday night...

The button raised, small blind folded, big blind defended, and the dealer promptly removed $4 for rake. I called the floor over and was told the rake was now a straight 10%, instead of what the plaque says. IMO, having the highest rake in Vegas, at these limits, is not a strong selling point.

Hi AllVegas:

It's my opinion that it doesn't matter very much exactly what limit the small limits are. But it does make a difference at the middle limits.

Best wishes,
Mason

Hi Howard:

While the exact limit isn't important at the low limits, how a game is structured is. The history of $6-$12 with small blinds is not good. You would think a cardroom manager would know this.

Best wishes,
Mason

The cardroom manager comes from Foxwoods, which although its the worst run card room on the east coast it is jam packed. I should add that there is no competition within a multi-state area. I think that says all we need to know... Unless Venetian changes management it is unfortunately doomed.

Yikes! Did they offer a reacharound?

[/ QUOTE ]

Unfortunately not, but the cardroom manager talked to us and he might have mentioned water-based lubricants; however, I was not paying attention, so I can't be sure. In any case I would assume its BYOL.

Never have played 6/12 with the twos

Try it at Wynn. You can use their $2's for weapons on bad beats. They're small, thick, heavy, sharp, brown and dangerous. I tossed a brownie to the one of the ten stupendous drink girls and it ruptured her implant.

Funny, but not going to happen. Wynn doesn't spread 6/12. Just 4/8 and 8/16.
