New limits at Venetian poker room

The Venetian has received their $3 chips, and they have revised their limit hold'em offerings. The Venetian poker room is now spreading: 3/6, 6/12, and 9/18 in addition to the larger games.

I think it's interesting that The Venetian decided to axe the $4/8 game. $4/8 is the lowest limit offered at The Venetian's main competitors (Wynn, Bellagio) whereas $3/6 and $6/12 is more commonly found at Mirage and Caesars.

No 4/8! That sucks.

On an additional note, the Venetian had two 40/80 games going last week.

So is the 6/12 a 2/4 chip structure?

I would have been happy to play some 6/12 there last week!

There was no game running at Mirage on Thursday night around 11 and Caesar's board only had 4/8 and 8/16 listed and no 6/12 (none of which were going at all).

Caesars Palace did away with 3-6 a few weeks ago. They're no going with 4-8.

How silly. They don't have enough players for 4/8 and 9/18 and now they think that adding a 3rd limit in that range is good? LOL.
