no NL SNGS have the lowest variance of any form of poker.
as for you being more disappointed in SNG than MTT's... i don't agree with you when you saying you expect to lose in MTT more often than SNG so disappointment factor is less. you should think of it this way, if you expect to lose more in MTT and you make it deep, it should hurt more since its so hard to get back, and the money is so much more. on the flip side, if you lose a SNG, shrug it off, it happens, and you only played 30 minutes. you can easily win the next one. in fact, almost all people would say SNG are better emotionally to play for this reason. |
