Re: 50NL QQ faces minraise on flop

Calling gives you no information about what villian has. It doesn't get you any closer to winning the hand, either. IMO it's push or fold.

Re: Call with a set on a 4 straight board?

I probably do the same here, I have problems laying down a set. I think he has two pair, lower set enough for this to be +EV.

Re: SB/BB confrontation (50NL, full ring)

I don't hate you bet size on the turn -- it kinda makes a flush draw thinks it's priced in, but he isn't if you refuse to put any more money into the pot should a scare card come. I am pretty sure...

Re: The poker gods giveth and they taketh away

I insta-fold this. I can't see an unknown making that value bet without being able to beat a straight.

Re: Does a TAG usually have the nuts here?

Erm, I doubt he has the nuts. I'm thinking he has a set.

Picking off a bluff, or bluff C/R? BB w/ 99

So yeah, no reads. His flop bet looked suspiciously weak -- something like A/x that missed. I might even be able to pick off QQ-AA against a weakie, no? Does anyone ever make this standard raise...

JJ OTB vs PFR from UTG 15+1 Turbo 2nd level

No real reads, he's pretty tight from the few hands we've had. This is the first hand he's raised. I think I should've raised his weak turn bet to see where I was at, or bet the flop. This passive...

Folding 22 OTB to 100BBs after limping in a multi-way pot PF

So, I was watching one of 2Paul2's 4-tabling 100max tables, he has 22 OTB and limps after 2 limpers. SB (100BB) raises to $5, folds to him and he folds. With no reads, would you make this fold as...

Re: High PP\'s

Yeah, raise. You don't want people flopping top two with trash they would've thrown away. If you know that SB or BB will overplay top pair, then you can probably limp. Or, you can if you can fold it...

I call. I'd put him on either a jack, broken straight or flush draw.
