The variant of Omaha that I play involves usually 4 other players.
The rules: The button acts last, UTG acts first on all streets and preflop. Each hand has a total cap of 20$ and there is a $1 ante. There is no limit to how much you can bet on any street or preflop. Normally, players only show two cards at the showdown. I normally play with players ABCD: A: Loose, calls caps pre-flop with absolute garbage. Can pay off anything with any draw and will normally call with any straight or flush draw for the cap. B: Weak tight, slowplayer, calling station. C: TAG, can make bluffs with position, but can also make random bad calls all-in preflop. D: sLAG, can't fold middle pair with a high PP in hand. With these players, what is the most optimal way to play? How do draws work? Should I work with only given odds? How can I change this game to give me more of an edge? (I have read TOP, HOHE 1+2, Ciaffone's NL/PL book, HEFAP, and normally lurk in Small Stakes NL) Any help is appreciated, thank you. |
