Hourly rate for $1/$2?

In a $1/$2 holdem limit game, if you are paying a $3 rake, $.50 jackpot rake, and $1.00 tip per winning hand, what should a good player be able to average per hour? Thanks in advance.

Why I think online poker IS rigged.

They rig online poker because they have to to survive.

Some people think they rig it out of greed, to maximize rake, but that's not true.

Do you really think they can allow expert players to...

My doomswitch theory

In regards to Ace Eleven's doomswitch survey a few days ago I'd like to say a few things.

I have become firmly convinced that the online casinos doomswitch expert players.

Many will ridicule...

Re: New Books and Thanks for the Support

Mason,

In Ed Miller's book, GSIH, in part two, he walks the reader through the play of ten poker hands. I found this really helpful. Other books do the same thing but the style used in this book...

Re: microlimits in Southern CA?

Thanks. I only have the bankroll for $1/$2, so I've been playing online. It will be nice to get out from behind the computer.

Re: Software to detect cheating

I mean I would remember to log the times I bluffed with nothing and got raised but might forget to log the times I raised with top pair or stronger and got raised, because I wanted to get raised. ...

Re: Software to detect cheating

Yes, I have had this happen. And in general, anytime I have a hand like AA, KK, QQ the average number of opponents to the flop is lower than usual. Of course, I could be mistaken but I don't think...

Software to detect cheating

I've experienced a lot of suspicious situations, like being dealt pocket aces and everyone folds including the BB, and I didn't even raise. And also, if I bet a legitimate hand on the flop, like I...

Re: Should I Continue?

I just don't understand how I could have such a low winrate when there's five or six people seeing the flop and half have hands like J4o. It just doesn't seem possible.
