3/6 blind defense
Party Poker 2/4 Hold'em (10 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)
Button is 15/8/2.2 after 160 hands w/ attempt to steal at 54% Is the turn raise right to give him an opportunity to spew or am I better waiting till the river to raise? Actually, I think the turn is right as he must start to have AK/KQ to hit me again after my agression shown. Comments? Re: 3/6 blind defense
In general, I think you're more likely to get called by a worse K/underpair if you stop & go the turn rather than check/raising. That also eliminates the possibility of him checking through with a FD/gutshot or those other hands.
And incidentally, unless he views you as a total rock, he's capping preflop with AK every time, and with KQ a good percentage of the time as well. I like this line from time to time, too, and it worked out well for you (if he folds to your turn c/r he wasn't betting the river UI anyway, and probably wasn't calling if you'd led it). |

Re: 3/6 blind defense
I don't think he folded AK here MAYBE KQ more likely A5s or A3s. He would have had top two pair with top kicker - why would he fold that - maybe you have a 5? If so add him to your buddy list ;-)
I like the turn raise as it makes him wrong to continue and he is likely to bet to try to make you fold so minimal chance of check through. Based on this small sample (1 hadn) I think he may be a somewhat dangerous / decent opponent he bet his small pair with (likely) A kicker and figured you missed completely and bet you for value but was smart enough to dump it as soon as you told him you had a hand. |

Re: 3/6 blind defense
Nobody three-bets the flop and leads on the turn?

Re: 3/6 blind defense
Am I the only one just calling KJs out of the BB against a steal?

Re: 3/6 blind defense
I think 3betting is good if the stealer is weak.
