Default 2-5 live KQo--poorly played

Live--2-5 blinds, 6 handed,

I have about 600, villain about 200

I open to 20 w/ KQo (black), next guy calls, button calls. Button is very average and has around 250. Other guy just lost a big pot where he way overplayed his hand and seems to be a bit tilted. He is not a good player.

Flop KhTc6h (my KQo is black)

I bet 30 (into a 65 pot) next guy raises to 60, next guy folds, I call 30.

Turn: 8h (KhTc6h) pot is now 180

I check, hoping to get a read, thinking that I will fold to a big bet (he has 120 left). He bets 60--I call

River is a blank and I check...

Bet more on the flop. Pot.

He doesn't have enough to worry about his hand. I would push over his bet.

With only 40BB, I'm fine getting it in here. From a distance it looks like a flush draw.

Also, when you call the turn, are you really planning on folding the river for 60 more?

"He doesn't have enough to worry about his hand. I would push over his bet."

This is one of my main questions. It looked like a flush draw to me and since it was so cheap I thought calling was in OK since it would be better to get the money in on a non-heart turn. Then when the heart did come, his small bet and mannerism told me that he didn't like it either.

"Also, when you call the turn, are you really planning on folding the river for 60 more?"

No.

make it 55 on flop, 3 bet flop, or get it in on turn. Even if he goes all in on flop, you're getting about 2.5 to 1 with these small eff stacks. If he calls your flop bet turn is less than pot bet.

Bafore you even betthe flp you need to decide if you want to play for your opponents stack here. Because if he continues with this hand with either a raise or call, he is pretty mush committing himself. The only escape route for him is if he is on a flush/straight draw and misses and you check to him to "wait for a safe turn or river". Then he might check down and you put yourself in a payoff but not get paid position.

Once he raises the flop, I 3-bet here and make him pay to chase or draw thin.
