Default $6.50 Turbo: AKo outta the BB

Very early, but PF raiser has seemed completely reasonable. Lead the flop or turn? Should I lead out on the river? Raise this river once bet? Afterwards I felt like an uberpassive d0nk. Wee!

Bodog $6.00 + $0.50 Turbo - 10 Players

UTG t735
UTG+1 t1010
UTG+2 t1250
MP1 t660
MP2 t945
MP3 t555
CO t825
Button t1860
SB t650
Hero t1510

Blinds are 15/30

Hero is BB with A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

2 folds, UTG+2 raises to t80, 3 tolds, CO calls t80, 2 folds, Hero calls t50

Flop (t255): 8 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 7 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 Players)

Hero checks, UTG+2 checks, CO checks

Turn (t255): J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 Players)

Hero checks, UTG+2 checks, CO checks

River (t255): A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

I like. Against one opponent I probably bet river, but check/call is good here.

I would raise it to 200-250 preflop. I think AK is more valuable then just a call at $6.5 and $11 level. A lot of hands you dominate will call you and donk everything if you both hit the flop.
If I don't hit the flop if there are 2 opponenets c/f. If only 1 opponent, I bet half the pot if there is less then 2 cards over 9.

Can't really get any better than that. Getting a free ride all the way to the river and catching the Ace. C/C on the river is probably the best move to get the most out of the situation.

At the low level turbos, early in the SnG, keeping the pot small with AK is good. It is too easy to hemorrhage chips in that position.

This is my thought exactly. No need to get fancy with a healthy stack and itty bitty blinds. Should be plenty of opportunities to solidify my position in the coming levels.
