Default semi-deep TPTK hand w/ some history

Villian is rebirth_, good semi-LAG. We've been playing each other on up to 4 tables at a time for hours now. He calls my raises quite often in position and is aggressive.

We've mostly given up, but there has been multiple occurances of 2- and 3-barrel bluffs, floats etc. from both of us.

Some hands from earlier:

SB bets $300

I don't think there's any way I can fold to the flop raise. But maybe someone disagrees? All Comments welcome.

EDIT: Also, while both of the above hands look like we only know two moves, they're mostly given for context. We're both capable of mixing it up, check/raising with draws/air etc.

Because we're expecting him to follow up most check/raises, yes?

Also, how much are we willing to call on the river?

Really tricky spot. I think you have to raise, not because I think it is hugely +EV (for this particular hand) but because he needs to know that you will raise with not only fullhouses in spots like these. If you are only willing to raise a boat here he will beable to pick off your bluffs much more easily in the future. I probably raise to 1000 and grudgingly call a push.

Ahhhh, now I get it! Well, since you told me you have absolutely zero respect for my game, heres what I hope occured in this hand.

I hope you sheepishly check/called turn only to fill up on the river when an 8 rolls off and then pushed 300bb's into rebirth as he instacalled with quads! Please say its so?

Not at all, but most definately sadistic

Allin insulted me today @ the tables, made me sit out for a minute or two so I could cry it out If it makes me bitter in the eyes of the 2+2 clique to wish quads upon him then so bet it!

Default Results and stuff

aba20,

interesting... do you really think that the metagame benifit is worth it here? (that's basicly what you're saying right?)

results:

I called, river was Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] he bet $300, i was slightly disgusted and relieved at the same time... contemplated raising all-in to get him off a small boat but decided that was suicide and ended up just calling and paying off his 88.
